Co-Pilot answers questions about the numbers in front of you, in plain language. Open it from Co-Pilot in the top right of any screen. It opens beside your page rather than replacing it, so you can check its answer against the figures.

The three tabs

  • Suggestions: questions worth asking about what is on screen.
  • Ask: type your own, such as Explain why travel & entertainment is high or Summarise the performance of H1. Answers come back as key takeaways, with the most important action called out at the end.
  • Support: help with Kompass itself, including these guides.
Use New thread to start a fresh conversation when you move to a different question.
It will tell you what it cannot answer. Where the data does not support a conclusion, such as a failed sync or a period with no actuals, Co-Pilot says so and names the fix rather than estimating around it. That is the difference between an answer you can take to a board and one you cannot.
